Queens Love: Woodhaven Community Library

The Woodhaven Community Library was created as an act of love in response to the needs of the Woodhaven Community. Our mission is to create a safe space for children and their families to safely come together and share their love of books! We have helped community members gain access to a plethora of different types of books and have more importantly, shown how we can all come together during these trying times! We are so grateful for all of the love and support that has been shown to our little Community Library! We are currently collecting funds for some new, weather-proof, sturdy, and mobile book shelves and to expand on the types of resources we can offer  community members. We hope to continue to be able to foster an environment where creativity, curiosity, empowerment,  and a love of learning is encouraged and to help residents gain access to helpful information and resources. Any little bit helps, will be greatly appreciated, and will go towards improving the quality of life of the children and families of Woodhaven! Thank you!
