Hi, my name is Nancy and we are fundraising for my family due to the untimely and unexpected death of my father, Jorge , who passed on Thursday, April 13th, just 10 days shy of his 53rd birthday. He leaves behind his wife, Elsa, his 17 year old son, Jorge Jr, two adult daughters Wendy and Nancy, along with 2 grandchildren Camila and Sebastian. As my father didn’t plan for his death, we are in need of the immediate expenses to lay him to rest.

If you are a friend or relative reading this, you know that my dad was a wonderful father, husband, grandfather, and friend. He was loved by anyone that met him. He was always so happy and filled with life, he always put everyone’s needs before his. My dad would always be there for an ear if you needed it. He was always so thoughtful and always knew what you needed. It wasn’t a matter of if he would help, it would be a question of when and where. He was proud of his job at ECG Construction, his Mexican culture, the journey as an immigrant, and his children’s accomplishments.

My dad was my best friend. His passing is surreal. I still can’t believe this to be true. I keep hoping this is a horrible nightmare and that he’d come back. We are all confused and heart broken. My family and I thank you in advance for your help during this time.

Siempre estaba tan feliz y lleno de vida, que siempre ponía las necesidades de todos a las suyas. Mi padre siempre estaba ahí para escuchar si lo necesitabas. Siempre fue muy considerado y siempre supo lo que necesitabas. No era cuestión de si él ayudaría, sería una cuestión de cuándo y dónde. Estaba orgulloso de su trabajo en ECG Construction, su cultura mexicana, el viaje como inmigrante y los logros de sus hijos.

Mi padre era mi mejor amigo. Su muerte es surrealista. Todavía no puedo creer que esto sea cierto. Sigo esperando que esta sea una pesadilla horrible y que vuelva. Todos estamos confundidos y con el corazón roto. Mi familia y yo le agradecemos de antemano su ayuda durante este tiempo.
