Who is Congregation Coffee Roasters? As we share our story please find us @congregation_coffee on Instagram to see stories and faces!

As we all know, Covid-19 is devastating our communities, and in it's wake causing massive disruption to the restaurant/hospitality industry.

For the safety of our staff and community,  Congregation Coffee Roasters completely closed the doors to both our cafes on March 20th, for even take-out seemed risky for all involved.

Congregation Coffee Roasters is a small DIY company that over the past 5 years has grown from a tiny shed to a robust business with 2 bustling cafes and a wholesale roasting facility which services 30+ local restaurants/businesses. We are so proud of ourselves and the creative coffee professional TEAM that works so hard to get us here!

But now with 95% of our business suspended overnight, and all our staff laid off, we look to the future and can only wonder what will happen to us?!

Like most small, young businesses in the first 5 years, all profits went right back into development, we have yet to build a savings account, we are still hold much debt.   And with so much uncertainty in government help and even how long this pandemic will continue, we truly have nothing to offer our employees but the paperwork to file for unemployment. It's heartbreaking.

Our dream is for our team's future re-employment, and our continued growth and success! But it will take time.

So until then, this Go Fund Me account is the action we can take today!

We set up this virtual tip jar, for our amazing, resilient, creative staff, to give them hope, but most importantly to give them some MONEY thru this pandemic.

100% of proceeds will be distributed to our employees. Those staff who were employed at the time of closure and the few we were in the process of hiring and gave notice to other jobs and are now stuck in limbo.

We, the owners of Congregation Coffee Roasters, THANK YOU for helping our Congregation, the 'Gators in these tumultuous times.

In health and gratitude,
Eliot Guthrie and Ian Barrilleaux.
