Hi. My name is Kim Richman and I am fundraising for Brett and Crystal King. I am Crystal’s cousin and a good friend to both Crystal and Brett. Brett & Crystal have been very happily married for 27 years.

Things changed so drastically for this couple last March of 2023 when Brett had his first heart attack at age fifty.

Since March, Brett has had four heart attacks- not including additional mini heart attacks in that short period of time.

Due to the heart attacks, Brett lost his job. Brett and his wife, Crystal, are really struggling. They have no health insurance and are waiting for Medicaid approval. While that will come, in the time being, this couple has had to pay for everything out-of-pocket. They have had to do this with Brett being unemployed.

Additionally, Brett has had to pay for much needed medicines for his heart without the help of insurance.

Without employment for Brett, things have been beyond challenging for the family!

We are working on trying to find health solutions for Brett- and I will be providing updates whenever they come in. However, I want to make sure that their current needs are taken care of. I want to make sure that they have food to eat and a home to live in. (This is a wonderful couple that is always looking out for and taking care of others. Now is a time that they really need help.) This is something that could happen to anyone!
