Volunteer Teaching in Tanzania

Hi, my name is Breanna Perry, I am a Bath Spa University student, studying drama and education. Through University I have enrolled in the Global Citizenship program which involves me going abroad. I have chosen to volunteer as a teacher in Tanzania for 3 weeks in June.

Education is a powerful tool, but many children in Tanzania face challenges in accessing quality learning resources. As a passionate drama and education student, I’m wanting to make a real difference by helping to teach, inspire, and support students who need it most.

I’m excited to share that I’ve saved half of the funds for my upcoming volunteering trip, but I still need a bit of help to cover the remaining expenses, including travel, accommodation, as well as teaching essentials, and resources for the students. This trip is a huge opportunity for me to give back and make a positive impact, but I can’t do it without your support. With your generous donations, I can contribute to creating a more engaging and supportive learning environment for these children.

If donations exceed our initial goal, the additional funds will be used to purchase extra materials and resources to further enhance the school's learning environment. This could include updated textbooks, new classroom supplies, educational technology, or even creative tools to support students' artistic and academic growth
