Help Our Family Stay Housed and Safe

Hi, my name is Shawn, and I’m reaching out during one of the hardest moments our family has faced. We are a family of four with two beautiful children, ages 4 and 6. Due to circumstances out of our control, we have to move out of our current home next week; our rental has been sold, and the new owners are moving in. We knew this was coming; however, we were only given the closing date last week.

We are doing everything we can to avoid becoming homeless. One parent works full-time locally, and the other stays home to care for our young children. Unfortunately, without savings and with rising housing costs, we are struggling to secure a new place in time.

We are trying to raise $3,500 to help cover moving costs, security deposit, and first month’s rent. Our goal is to stay in our current neighborhood where our children attend school and where we work—uprooting them during this time would be devastating.

Any help, no matter how small, would make a world of difference to us. If you can't donate, please consider sharing this with others. Due to the sensitive nature of our situation, we have decided it is best to not post our faces.
