Help for a Family

EDIT: I am completely humbled by your generosity and so is this family. Anything beyond our goal will be donated to other local organizations such as Casa San Jose, the Latino Community Center, and ISAC Pittsburgh so that other families in need can get help. You're good people.
An immigrant family I am close to needs help, and it is beyond what I am able to provide personally. Like so many people, they are out of work and in a precarious situation. They need money for rent and basic needs, and there is a baby at home. This is absolutely a last ditch effort. I hate turning to a public funding platform, but I don't know what else to do, and neither do they.
I have been helping them. They are also connected with local social organizations, but everyone has need right now and there simply isn't enough to go around. The organizations are overwhelmed, the families are overwhelmed, I am overwhelmed.
If you have a roof over your head and $50, $30, $10, or $2, it helps. It is going toward concrete care of fellow human beings. It doesn't solve everyone's problems, but it is one tiny tangible thing that would help a family of 5 survive.
