Imagine waking up early on Mother's Day. But instead of breakfast in bed, it's your whole house shaking from an apparent explosion, blaring sirens and car alarms going off—what a way to start the day!

This was the reality for brother and sister-in-law, and nephew this Mother's Day.

They went to bed Saturday night never imagining they’d wake up to find their car burned in an act of arson. Sadly, their insurance won’t cover the damage. My brother has been working so hard these past few years to put his life back on track, and that vehicle has really meant a lot—it's helped him get to work and given his family some much-needed freedom.

Unfortunately, the insurance they had did not cover fire. I'm hoping to raise a little something to help them get a new car. Even the smallest contribution can make a difference, or if you're unable to donate, sharing this with others would mean the world.
