Help Raise Funds for Ongoing Medical Costs my Mom is facing from a Car Accident that left her Paralyzed

Almost 11 years ago, my Mom, Dad, and I were in a terrible car accident. While my physical injuries have healed, my Mom was left paralyzed with life altering complications. I know that she tries to keep people updated on her medical status, but does not do the same about the financial challenges that she faces. She pays for one full time person and two part time people (on the weekends) to help with her care, PT and OT, ADLs, transportation, etc. She pays for her prescriptions (she is currently on 13 different medications daily) plus IV meds at times based on infections, her doctor and hospital bills, her medical supplies, etc. She has Medicare because of her disability, but it does not provide dental or vision coverage and she is not permitted to purchase any supplemental insurance policies. This is a big deal because some of her conditions and medications have caused dental issues and for over a year and a half she has avoided going back to the dentist, even though she has started experiencing pain. The last time that she went, she had X-rays and a checkup and she was told she needs to have two root canals, multiple fillings and a crown. She has to pay for all of this work and it is very expensive. Her vision was also affected in the accident, and she has to pay for her visits, and new glasses annually, based on her changing prescription. She also needs to buy a shower chair, because her last one was in such bad shape she had to get rid of it two years ago. She can’t transfer to a shower bench to bathe because she is weak from having chronic UTIs. My Mom has helped me my entire life, and I have seen and still see her help people in many different ways. I am setting up this Go Fund Me to help her pay for these procedures and medical costs in 2025. My goal is to reach $5,000 to help her. Please help to reach this goal. Thank you!
