Urgent: Help My Family Survive Gaza’s War
Donation protected
Hello everyone,
My name is Khaled Tolaba, a Palestinian from Gaza, reaching out to you during the most difficult time of my life. These words might just appear as text on a screen, but behind them is a young man whose dreams were shattered by the horrors of war.
I was a high school student—until our home was reduced to rubble. My family of five—my younger siblings, my elderly parents, and a sick relative—now struggle to survive each day. Before the war, we lived modestly, but peacefully. I dedicated myself to my studies, while my family worked hard to support one another.
Everything changed when a deadly airstrike flattened our home. We lost not only our possessions, but also our safety, our memories, and our sense of stability. Now we are homeless, seeking shelter wherever we can, fighting daily for food, water, and a moment of peace.
Each morning we wake with the fear that it could be our last. We have no choice but to leave Gaza and search for a place where we can begin again. But that journey comes with heavy costs—permits, travel, and basic needs in a new land.
That’s why I’m reaching out for your help. We need $20,000 to give my family a chance at a new life. Here’s how your support will be used: $10,000 for travel and visa procedures to leave Gaza through the Rafah crossing $6,000 for initial housing, so we can find work and build stability $4,000 for food, shelter, and medical care for my sick relative and younger siblings How can you help? Any amount—no matter how small—can make a difference. Even $5 or $10 can bring us one step closer to safety. If you’re unable to donate, please share our story. Every share spreads our plea to someone who might be able to help. We promise full transparency. Every cent will go directly toward our travel, housing, and basic needs. My dear friend Aaya Aboud, who is organizing this campaign on my behalf, will receive and transfer all donations to us via PayPal.
If you need any verification—photos, documents, or more—we are ready to provide them. It’s incredibly difficult to ask for help. But we’ve lost everything and can’t make it through this alone. Still, I hold on to hope. I believe in the kindness of strangers—of people who refuse to turn away from suffering. Please, help us escape fear and danger. Help my siblings have a chance to grow up safely and dream again. Thank you for reading our story.
Thank you for every donation, every share, and every kind thought. Your support might be the reason we survive.
Note: I am Khaled Asaad Talaba, and Aya Aboud is organizing this campaign on my behalf. All donations will go directly to me via PayPal to support and save my family.
