With everything that is going on right now I felt like I wanted to do something positive and to give back just a little to help others. 

What I am planning  is possibly a little bit wild and is taking me totally out of my comfort zone. 

 So..... (drum roll please):

I have decided to shave my head! 

On  May 17th  I'm going to shave off all my lovely hair. In doing so I have decided to help the Kildare Branch of Down Syndrome Ireland and the not for profit organisation ALPS (ALL LIVES ARE PRECIOUS)

Two very worthy causes close to my heart and two organisations that day to day are changing lives within our communities. 

I know lots of people are in difficult circumstances at the moment and I would be super happy if you are able to donate anything at all.  No donation is too small, I promise!

Fundraising by small organisations and charities such as these have been badly hit by the Covid-19 crisis, which has led to the cancellation of fundraising activities and events that normally provide much needed finances enabling these organisations to survive . 

My hair has also been my selling point, (Greaseball) has been my nickname my whole adult life and for me to even contemplate shaving it off is by far the craziest thing I could do.
