Matthew is 11 and his new bike was stolen from our garden.

We bought him this new bike only 2 weeks ago! His bike was his favourite thing ever, he went everywhere on it! Until he broke his foot a couple of week back. Because of this, he has spent his summer holiday so far fixing his bike up and upgrading it, learning how to fix and mend bikes on his own and helping other kids in the street get their bikes fixed! I’ve never seen a kid so into something, starting his own little business in the street and using his pocket money to buy a bike stand and tools to fix them up and teach other kids how to mend theirs!

As most of you know, I am not working at the moment due to my illness/disability. Buying him this bike was difficult enough financially and I feel like the world’s worst parent not being able to just get him a new one.

Phil (dad) is also currently recovering from knee surgery so there is not a lot we can do with him right now and his bike is his fun right now.

We are still trying to find the bike, seeing if it’s been sold on on FB or other places.

Even the smallest donation would help go toward a new second hand bike for Matty!
