For those of you not familiar with Julie Storms story, her daughter Janie explains it best in her breif post below:
“On March 5, 2020 at 6 am, my dad found my mom on the ground conscious but unresponsive. She was transported to University of Cincinnati hospital where she was put into emergency surgery to remove pressure in her brain as they found her AVM had ruptured after 22 years of being stable. After waiting 5 agonizing hours of not knowing whether she was going to make it or not, they informed us that she had been moved to the ICU where she stayed for 3 weeks before moving to the rehab facility where she stayed until June 5th. Only 2 weeks into her being in the ICU we were told we were no longer able to visit her due to covid. From then on my mom faced this alone, her only contact with us being through facetime. Yet still, even without her family there with her, and this being her second AVM rupture, she made it home”.
