Hi everyone,

My Nanna is a wonderful, kind-hearted woman who is deeply loved in her community. She’s always helped others without expecting anything in return. To me, she’s one of the most important people in my life since I was a child. She’s always been there for me—and now it’s her turn to receive help.

Sadly, her health has deteriorated, and she urgently needs a heart transplant. She lives in Colombia, and unfortunately, this surgery is not covered by her health insurance. It’s a procedure that must be paid for privately, and the estimated cost is between $50,000 and $60,000 CAD (around 150 to 180 million Colombian pesos).

My Nanna has been living on her own since her wife passed away and simply doesn’t have the financial resources to afford this operation. That’s why I’m launching this fundraiser—to raise at least $15,000 CAD to help cover part of the surgery and her recovery expenses.
