Hi everyone, we’re a group of final-year medical students currently doing our elective in St Lucia. We’ve been here for just over two weeks and while it’s been an amazing experience, we’ve also seen the poverty that many people face.

On our way to the hospital each day, we noticed an orphanage called Rosa’s Place. Today we visited and spent time with the sisters who run it and the lovely children who live there, aged between 3 and 16. They rely completely on donations to keep things going, and after leaving we all felt we had to do something to help.

After speaking with one of the sisters, we’ve put together a list of essential items they really need. Our goal is to raise as much money as possible so we can buy and deliver these items directly to help them out.

There’s absolutely no pressure, but if you’re able to give anything at all, it would mean so much to us — and to them. Thank you ❤️
