He was perfectly fine until we went to his best friends military funeral in San Antonio. His best friend of 30+ years . My husband did not act like himself and was confused and paranoid.

He could not carry on a conversation and was making odd conversation with everyone . His best friend died of cancer and Danny took it really hard . I thought his actions were due to his friend passing . I took him to the ER when we got back home and I explained to doctor how he had been acting and saying things that did not make sense. He was dehydrated too. The doctor ordered a CT scan of the brain and that’s when we found out he had a mass on his brain. A brain tumor was confirmed by MRI of the brain . The surgery was a success . The pathology report came back in a couple weeks and determined it was cancer a glioblastoma which is terminal . I’ve exhausted all my available time off from work while I stayed with him everyday at UT Southwestern where he had the surgery . He stayed about 6 days then transferred to Zale Lipshy rehab hospital where I stayed with him everyday until he got released. He will be starting chemotherapy and radiation soon . I’m doing the fundraiser to allow me to be off with my husband take him to doctors appointments and treatments and be with him when he needs me. Right now any time I take off is without pay . This will also help with medical bills and traveling  to Dallas back and forth. I am the sole supporter for our family and have to work. Every donation is greatly appreciated.
