Hello Neighbors! Thank you for taking the time to visit this page & learn more about the effort to hire private security to complete nightly patrols of Jester Estates neighborhood. This effort began last year & was successfully run for about 8 months by Erin G. until funding unfortunately ran out - Again, thank you for all you did, Erin!

This idea originally evolved from several neighbors discussing ideas on NextDoor to combat the issue of increased suspicious activity throughout the neighborhood (i.e. Cars being rummaged through overnight, security cameras catching unknown individuals checking doors, etc.). As there has been an increase in the activity again, neighbors began revisiting this idea & the possibility of fund-raising again. The goal with hiring private security patrol is to deter criminal activity/ persons attempting criminal activity in the neighborhood.

The upper tier level of security patrols will cost $1000/month which would provide 6 patrols overnight, and a report of nightly patrols. If 100 residents were interested in contributing, that would be roughly $10/month. This page asks for a donation of $30-$50 to cover 3-5 months to start with the reintroduced private security. Note: This does not include taxes or gofundme fees. Additionally, I have received several comments suggesting the HOA managing this and while I understand the request, the HOA has been approached several times and have declined to handle the fundraising for this effort as not all homes are part of the HOA & this effort is 100% voluntary.
