Do Good Campaign - Homeless Veterans of San Diego

Help homeless veterans!

Bull Oak Capital is kicking off its annual Do Good initiative by supporting Homeless Veterans of San Diego (HVSD). Our goal is to raise funds ahead of HVSD's annual Stand Down Event.

Last year case managers were able to work with over 500 veterans during a 3-day period and provide assistance with applying for benefits, housing, legal assistance, clothing, and more.  HVSD anticipates the number of veterans in need of assistance to be even more this year.  This event has been referred to by HVSD as the "Super Bowl" of what the organization does throughout the year.

Homeless Veterans of San Diego is a registered 501(c)3 organization that supports veterans throughout San Diego by focusing on the individual, and providing support and services customized to each veteran’s needs, delivered in a high touch manner.  HVSD's services include helping veterans to navigate through necessary services such as the VA, assistance in securing housing and job placement, resources and support through addiction recovery, medical and mental health issues, and mentoring to help keep veterans focused and moving forward.

We hope to raise $10,000 this year (or more) as we will be matching up to $2,000 of all donations. All proceeds will go directly to Homeless Veterans of San Diego.
