Hi, my name is Jaelyn and I’m trying to raise $800 to help my dad, who is paralyzed from the waist down. Over the past few years, he’s been through a lot physically, emotionally, and mentally. He’s been placed in several nursing homes, and most of them have been really poor conditions. It’s been heartbreaking to watch. Recently, he finally got accepted into an assisted living facility which is a huge blessing, but they don’t provide some of the basic things he really needs. Right now, he only has a few outfits that he rotates through, and I want to get him new clothes so he can feel a little more confident and comfortable.

Beyond clothes, I want to use this money to buy small things that can help make his new place feel more like a real home. maybe some decorations, or personal items that remind him he’s not forgotten and that he matters. After losing his mom his biggest support system a few years ago, he’s really struggled. He doesn’t have many people left, and it breaks my heart to see how isolated he feels. I’m doing everything I can to be there for him, but it’s not always easy since he lives 40 minutes away and I also have a baby to take care of.

Any help big or small would mean so much to us. I just want him to have the comfort, and care he deserves. Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for considering helping my dad it means the world to us!
