Hi, my name is Christina Hallam, and I recently became a single mother, & just need some help getting on my feet. I do have a job lined up, and start soon, but was left with a rental payment that I cannot afford right now. I was depending on my child tax credit to pay the rent for October, but have yet to receive my September payment, and my rent is now over a week past due. I have applied for housing assistance through the state, but there is always a long waiting list, so there is no telling when or if I will be able to get help from them. I am afraid that my children and myself will become homeless soon if I don’t figure something out, which is why I’m creating this go fund me account. If you wouldn’t mind even just sharing this, it would mean so much to me!
