Hello, my friends, I'm Hatem Al-Maghribi. I'm from Gaza, specifically northern Gaza. My family consists of eight members: my wife, five boys, and a girl, all children. Initially, we lived in our home in northern Gaza. On October 7, the war on Gaza began, and our home was bombed, forcing us to flee to our relatives' home in the middle of the Gaza Strip. The fighting intensified, and a house next to our relatives' was bombed. We miraculously survived, thank God. We then fled and continued walking for six hours with our hands up. There was no water or food. We crossed checkpoints until we reached the city of Al-Bureij. We were bombed, and my husband was seriously injured in his left thigh. We stayed there for about a month. We reached Khan Yunis and stayed in Nasser Hospital until the hospital was bombed and stormed by Israeli forces. Then, in the middle of the night, we fled. We walked for more than six hours until we reached the city of Rafah on the Egyptian border. We now live in a tent that barely accommodates five people, and there are eight of us. I have lived through more than 500 difficult days, every minute of which was equivalent to a year of torment, terror, and fear. I don't know any language or phrase to describe the life I'm living despite my difficult financial situation. I don't know how much time we have left to escape certain death. I implore you to include prizes to help us escape this hell of specializations. In all its details, the purpose of the fundraising is to evacuate my family from the war.
- PayPal transfer service
- The evacuation plan involves issuing passports for the entire family, and each passport costs $200.
We also need coordination from the Egyptian side to cross the Rafah border crossing. We need coordination that costs $9,000 per person, in addition to $2,500 for each person under the age of 18. We need transportation, hotel accommodation, and clothing. Most importantly, we need to evacuate Gaza and the wars to live in peace. I have four children: my injured husband, Hatem, Mohammed, and Karim, who are adults, and three children: Abdullah, Adam, and Habeeba. I don't have a single dollar of this money. We are losing all our money, in addition to the home we grew up in. I have children as young as ten years old who are experiencing the horrific war for the fifth time. But there is a glimmer of hope amidst this darkness. With your support and generous donations, we can rebuild our lives from the ashes. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a huge impact. Please, I ask you not to back down from our urgent appeal. Your support can make a world of difference in our lives. Let us unite to show the world the power of compassion and solidarity in times of inhumanity. Together, we can rebuild, restore, and forge a future filled with hope and freedom. Finally, I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my message and for your steadfast support in this urgent matter. For helping me save my family and provide them with a safe life away from war and death.
