Hello, I would like to start by introducing myself, my name is Daniel. I am not one to ask for help as im sure everyone knows how embarrasing the feeling is. I have a family to provide for and that comes first. I have 2 kids Maison and Morgan, who is the main reason I am creating this gofundme for. I and their mother need help with our living situation and financial situation.

This is our story, on March 13, 2023 at 5 am. Monday morning we were woken up by our 2 smoke alarms. This situatuon happened so quickly it was hard to comprehend. There was smoke everywhere and I immidiatly had everyone rushed out of the house. We had no time to grab any of our personal belongings. Whislt waking up and trying to understand what the cause of this was we contacted the police department/ fire department while we waited for them to come to our aid.

As the firemen showed up and poked and proded the walls and roof making sure they were able to get to every part the fire was touching, ensuring every last bit was put out. While they did all this it had left our walls crumbled and our roof broken open. Theu deemed it unlivable and red tagged the building. Leaving us homeless and without much understanding of what we can do.

We have reached out to many social services and the red cross for help. Which we recieved very little considering the situation we are now in. We need to make sure we have a safe and warm place to keep a roof over our kids and keep them clean. They will continue to go to school with the little clothes we have left for us all. We need to buy new clothes as most of ours are now desteoyed or soaked in carcinogens. Please keep in mind we are trying to do all of this with the little bit of help and money we had saved. We are falling behind on our finances and need help keeping enough financial assurance to stay in temporary housing while we search for a new place to live or until our home is fully fixed and up to code and in livable conditions again.

I reach out to everyone humbly and ask yourself what you would want help with in a situation like this. Keep in mind we have two kids we are desperatly trying to keep fed, clean and warm. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts foe everything and anything you can do for us.
