A Jewish family living in the North Hollywood area with three young boys, are living under dire circumstances. Unfortunately, the father was in an electrical accident a while back, and since then he has been trying to run a business with no fingers on his right hand. This has proven to be very challenging, and due to lack of income  their water, gas, and electricity was shut down by the city. Right now the family is using candles as light and has no access to nutritious hot meals. They go to friends' homes to bathe their three boys.
