Dear Friends and Family,

This is not an easy thing for me to write, however, I find myself in a situation where I have no alternative but to reach out and ask for your help. As most of you know, I am a single dad, musician, and audio engineer. The past few years have been very difficult regarding co-parenting and custody with Ada's mom. I won't go into all of the details here, but I have been gathering material and speaking with an attorney about pursuing enforcement of my parental rights, and possibly attempting to get either half or full custody, based on my concerns for Ada's well-being, and Hillary's ongoing behavioral and mental health issues. Unfortunately, things have come to a very bad place. Over the past few months, Hillary has denied my time with Ada, and has now cut off all contact and filed a Complaint For Protection against me on Ada's behalf, alleging neglect and sexual abuse. I trust you all to understand immediately that these allegations are baseless, egregious slander. However, I cannot afford to take any chances with this - there are too many ways that the situation could spin out of control horribly for Ada. I know times are tough for all of us, and it is extremely difficult for me to ask, but I'm hoping as my dear friends and close family that you might be able to send a small amount to help cover the cost of my attorney's retainer for this case. I'm living hand-to-mouth at the moment, and simply don't have the savings to do so. I've kept this GoFundMe page private, as I would prefer to not broadcast this extremely sensitive situation to the world at large - thank you all for your understanding.
