On December 2nd, 2025 our lives changed in an instant. A fire broke out in our home, the place where four generations of our family lived together — my grandparents, my two-year-old daughter, myself, and our beloved animals. Within minutes, everything we built, cherished, and depended on was gone.

We are incredibly grateful that everyone made it out safely. My grandparents, my daughter, and I are all safe, but we lost nearly everything inside the home. Our animals are terrified, but thankfully they survived. Even with everyone safe, the emotional and financial impact has been overwhelming.

Right now, we’re trying to replace essential items: clothing, baby supplies, medications, bedding, and basic everyday necessities. We’re also working on finding stable housing so my grandparents and daughter have a safe place to live until we are able to rebuild our home.

This is one of the hardest moments our family has ever faced, and asking for help is not easy. But any support — whether it’s a donation, a share, or a kind message — will help us take the next step toward rebuilding our lives.

We have lived in Atoka for such a large chunk of our lives, mine the majority. My grandparents bought this home when they got stationed here and retired from the Navy, our entire family has passed through this home at some point, it’s held so many laughs, tears and great memories, this is the only home my daughter has known, she will be two this January. This has been beyond devastating for our family.
