I'm reaching out to ask for support with the costs of my top surgery.

In the UK, the NHS wait time for this surgery through a Gender Identity Clinic is now over eight years—an unbearable amount of time to wait for something so essential. I made a promise to myself that I would only turn to crowdfunding if it truly became too hard to carry on without it, and that time has come.

I'm fundraising to cover the cost of the surgery itself, as well as travel, accommodation, and aftercare. I’ll be going abroad to Europe, where the process is more affordable and comes with fewer bureaucratic barriers. I'm also raising funds to help with the legal costs of changing my name and gender marker, and getting all the necessary documents updated.

This would be a life-changing surgery. As the UK becomes an increasingly hostile place for trans people, every bit of support—financial or otherwise—means the world to me. I know things are tough for so many right now, so even sharing this helps more than you know.
