<div>In the UK, the NHS wait time for this surgery through a Gender Identity Clinic is now over eight years—an unbearable amount of time to wait for something so essential. I made a promise to myself that I would only turn to crowdfunding if it truly became too hard to carry on without it, and that time has come.

<div>I'm fundraising to cover the cost of the surgery itself, as well as travel, accommodation, and aftercare. I’ll be going abroad to Europe, where the process is more affordable and comes with fewer bureaucratic barriers. I'm also raising funds to help with the legal costs of changing my name and gender marker, and getting all the necessary documents updated.
