Hi, my name is Libby Champion, and on the evening of June 24, 2022, I received a call that shattered my whole world.

 

Recently, my father underwent a biopsy to check a few spots on his liver. The results have come back as metastatic melanoma, and the cancer has spread throughout his body. The cancer we thought we had beaten by removing any traces of melanoma on his face and his eye has returned with a vengeance. At best, he has 2-8 months before the cancer overtakes his body entirely, and he is gone.

 

In addition to figuring out end-of-life care, I am now working to see my father as much as I can, and to fulfill his bucket list, before he passes. While it pains me greatly to do so, I am asking for financial help. I live in Florida and my father lives in California with my mother. I try to see them at least two times a year, but I'm hoping to visit as much as I can in the time he has left to help my mom and to say goodbye.

 

I am also asking for financial help to give my dad the most amazing last few months on this earth. Some of the things he loves to do are boating, going to the zoo, and being with his friends and family, and with your support, I will be able to make these things possible for him.

 

I'm also asking for help to help with any medical costs that may arise, such as hospice, medication or other end-of-life care.
