Support Christian's Road to Recovery

Christian was fishing off the jetty in Oceanside when he was swept away by high tide while attempting to help his coworker who was first thrown to the ground by the waves. His body was thrown on to the rocks multiple times and was seconds away from drowning. Once saved by multiple heroes, he was rushed to a Trauma Hospital with life threatening injuries. He sustained a laundry list of external injuries, the internal injuries overwhelmed his body, he had 12 broken ribs, 2 others dislocated, a collapsed lung, broken diaphragm, ripped spleen, 5 fractures on his spine on the lower back, as well as blood in his left lung and other internal bleeding that resulted Christian needing 2 blood transfusions and landed him a week in the ICU.

Christian now needs 24/7 care. In addition to loosing 8+ weeks of work, at the very least! I have to take an unpaid leave from work to care for him. With only 27 days left to our previously scheduled wedding. The road is going to be long and hard, he has limited mobility and is in extreme, at times unbearable pain but Christian is determined to walk down the aisle, even if it’s assisted.

Anyone who has been in a similar situation can understand how all the bills can add up, the medications, the in house physical therapy, the gas for doctors appointments, the growing medical expenses all due to the loss of work.
