Rory and Danielle moved to Australia in 2022 along with their beautiful children, Isla, 10y and Elijah, 4y. The family were rapidly adopted by their school community, Wooloowin State School. Isla rose to fame with her rugby efforts within her rugby community at Norths Rugby Union Club. Isla may be the first ever Northie to both start her rugby career and win the junior club player of the year in the same year, 2024.

Rory is an active member of the community. Working in property, he helps innumerable families and businesses. Rory is also the jokester, life of the party and a keen parent coach at training for Isla's rugby team, u9's Norths.

It was at Isla's game on Saturday 31st May, that disaster struck. Rory had a seizure mid game whilst supporting from the sideline. His fellow team parents helped him through and got him to hospital via Queensland Ambulance Service (thank you QAS). During the next few days, Rory had a number of scans and met the neurosurgical team.

Rory and Danielle's wonderful families are rallying together. His Rugby Family and his Wooloowin State School Family are also right with him to help him stand strong.

Donations are not expected. Thank you to everyone that has sent love and well wishes. Any donations received will be for Rory and his family to get through this.
