Putting a Family Back Together

In 2014 Alyssa was diagnosed with PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome). After trying for years to have children, Alyssa and her husband Jason decided to open their home and their hearts and became foster parents. Their first placement was a group of 3 siblings. Karter, Keniddy, and Keegan. The kids came to them with very little belongings but a heap of trauma. After a few short months Jason and Alyssa knew they wanted these kids to be theirs. At the start of the process the county reaches out, one last time, to family members to see if anyone is wanting to take the children before the adoption is finalized. Karter and Kenniddy were removed from Alyssa and Jason's home and placed with a paternal grandmother. Keegan was placed with an aunt as he does not share a father with the older 2. Keegan's aunt, while taking care of her own young children, wasn't equipped to care for Keegan's trauma and reached out to Alyssa to see if they would be willing to take Keegan back into their family. Within 4 days Keegan was home. Throughout this process Alyssa has tried to keep an open line of communication and visits with Karter and Keniddy through their grandmother. And with talking to the kids' guardian ad litem (the adult appointed to be the kids' voice) Jason and Alyssa have decided to pursue custody of the older children. They want and have the opportunity to help the children work through their trauma. And with an amazing family support system of their own, they would like to welcome the kids back into their family and help them reunite with their little brother permanently. While they have been able to pay the attorney until this point, they have now received further trial dates and need at least this amount to put towards the attorney's future work. Any little bit will help.  Please help these kids come home.
