It’s completely debilitating watching your child suffer with no ability to help them. You pray for health to once again flow through their body, you ask for peace, and you wait.


I’ve watched my sister go through the trenches the last few months. She has spent months away from her three boys at home while she sits by her daughter’s side. With tired eyes and an aching heart my sister has held herself up and she is truly someone to be admired. My sister spent hours at the side of my own daughter and was my shoulder to cry on after my daughter passed away. I am immensely grateful for all that she has been and done in my life and now I want to try and return the favor.

My sister originally was admitted into the high-risk unit back in November while she was still pregnant. She was monitored closely to ensure the baby wasn’t born too soon. Her daughter, Vallie, was born prematurely at 32-weeks gestation on December 25th. She had an extensive NICU stay where the extremely high medical bills continued to pile up for my sister and her family.

Vallie, was admitted back into the hospital only 11 short days of being home for the first time. She was admitted into the PICU unit and we all feared for her life. Thankfully, she stayed strong and was sent home happy and healthy once again a week ago.

With a lump in my throat and a tightness in my chest I have the extremely heart-breaking news that, Vallie, has once again been admitted into the PICU.

I feel so much grief in my heart watching the pain my sister is going through. She has been out of work since October and her family is truly  drowning in medical bills. So, I’m asking for your help!
