My name is Navid and I’m 16 years old. This GoFundMe is for the best mom I could’ve ever asked for. Since I gained consciousness, my mom has always put my sister and I first. Since my mother’s divorce, I’ve seen her deal with countless mental and health battles, which she still manages to power through, putting her children first every single time. But now I’ve realized, it’s time for me to call out to a support system for her.

Her divorce process and custody feud has now been going on for 6 years. As a single mother of 2, I’ve seen countless days where my mom will give up a meal if it means putting my sister and me first. I’ve seen countless days where my own mother has been physically and mentally drained to the point where it starts to detriment her long-term health. I’ve seen countless days where my own caring and loving mother has been disrespected and fought through it. But now, it’s time I have to step in and help. My mother needs help.

Recently, I learned my mom has been put in a situation that limits her from working and finding another occupation. I realized that if continues to be a long term thing my mom will have to balance supporting a high school child, a college child, 2 dogs, her own mother, and countless other things with no help. Unfortunately, she is in a complex predicament preventing her from having the opportunity to simply go look for a new job. I decided to start this GoFundMe in order to support my lifeline of a mother, the strongest woman I have ever known and ever will.

I’m asking others to please help someone who would help you, no matter the circumstance. A person who will put others before herself, even if it means she has to sacrifice something huge. Please help my mom from a financial battle with fees such as the legal ones, which simply shouldn’t determine her well-being and health. I love her with all my heart. I can’t stand to continue seeing my own mother suffer because of something like money, especially with my sister and I being unable to help as much as we would like to. My mom needs help and soon, otherwise our future may be uncertain. Anything helps, thank you.
