Help me to keep going

My name is Ibrahim Abudan, and I am 62 years old, from the Gaza Strip. I have endured a tragedy beyond words, losing 20 members of my family. Among them were seven of my daughters, my young son Ahmed, his wife, and their precious daughter. I also lost my wife, my brother-in-law, and my eleven grandchildren, all under the age of seven, when occupation planes bombed the house where we were taking refuge. This tragedy has left me shattered and overwhelmed with sorrow.

My son, his wife, and their daughter were the light of our lives. My son was a man of strength and kindness, his wife was graceful and loving, and their daughter was filled with innocence and joy. Losing them has left a hole in our hearts that can never be filled. Their memory, however, will live on with us forever.

On top of this immeasurable loss, I was severely injured in the bombing, leading to the amputation of both my legs. Now confined to a wheelchair, life in the Gaza Strip has become even more challenging. As if this suffering wasn’t enough, the occupation forces bombed my home, leaving me with no family, no shelter, and no way to walk again.
