Remembering Rane - A Life Full of Dreams

Donation protected
On the evening of June 5th, our family suffered a devastating loss. Rane Alexander, 24, was involved in a tragic motorcycle accident that ended his life here on Earth. We are without words or explanation. Processing the knowledge of his passing has proven an impossible task.

As a child, Rane was endlessly curious, with boundless energy and an infectious smile. His animated behavior brought happiness to everyone he encountered. His loving parents, Craig and Darya, were beyond blessed and shared in the joys of raising the chubby little red-cheeked miracle that he was.

As Rane grew, his passions developed into working on cars and building things with his hands. He loved motorcycles. He loved puzzles. He loved airplanes. He tinkered with engines, carburetors, and was always building and rebuilding something into a better, faster version. He was obsessed, often sharing his endeavors and accomplishments on social media. His most recent and amazing accomplishment on May 9th, Rane earned his private pilot’s license. He was excited about all that his future had to offer. He had plans and hopes and dreams of flying, starting a family, and owning a home.

As an adult, Rane was all heart and soul. More than his love for engines and airplanes, he loved his family. He was a son, a grandson, a brother, a nephew, and a cousin. Everyone adored him. He was unconditionally caring, and would drop everything to help someone in need. He was always quick witted and ready to share in laughter. His laughter was one of his best characteristics. It started as a giggle and would explode into belly laughing to tears. The mere sound of his giggles would erupt into everyone laughing along. His smile, his genuine presence filled a room with kindness and love. Yet, Rane had a depth of character that was soulful and beautiful. His truth-seeking curiosity about the world and all that it entails was never-ending. He held deeply profound, thought-provoking conversations. His ability to be vulnerable, express his feelings, and share love was an unequivocal testament to the wonderful man he had become. He was full of wonder, full of life. A true joy in every sense of the word.

We are reaching out to our friends and loved ones to help Craig and Darya with financial support for Rane’s memorial and funeral expenses. Any contribution would be graciously accepted, and greatly appreciated. We want to do whatever we can to assist them in easing the burden during this extremely difficult time. We are grateful to all of you as we navigate this sorrowful experience. Thank you for any contribution, memory, prayer, or kind word.

We love you Rane, your absence has created a void that cannot be filled. Fly high beautiful boy.
