From Oscar Grant to Breonna Taylor to George Floyd, and far too many in between - African Americans dying at the hands of law enforcement has become a common occurrence. Even though African Americans only make up about 13.4% of the United States population - they're 3x more likely to be killed by the police than White Americans. 

Justin Shields https://www.instagram.com/justshields/ and Tyler Standley https://www.instagram.com/tyler__baba/  are trying to make a difference in race relations by bringing light to the injustices that African Americans face on a daily basis, and also spreading awareness of the police brutality that occurs with regularity in African American communities.

We are going to run for Change. 

We're planning on running 4 miles every 4 hours  for 48 hours! A total of 48 Miles in 2 Days. #48FORFLOYD

This is going to be painful, and uncomfortable but so will discussing, and changing the racial injustices that African Americans have to endure.
