Hello. This fundraiser is created on behalf of Bunnell 80's Alumni to support one of our dear classmates, Karen Gallagher and her family. Karen's amazing daughter Mandy has been battling and battling, Epilepsy since she was a young girl. It's unfortunately a never-ending fight. I'm not sure I can give their story justice in my own words so here's an excerpt from one of Karen's recent posts: "Mandy Update: The interaction has hit extremely hard. She is mostly using the wheelchair and other tools to help her. She is extremely weak and very hard for her to move and her speech is slurred. We had a talk and she told me to tell the doctor she would rather have seizures...". Besides just the daily struggle, a lot of medicines Mandy needs are extremely expensive and with Mandy in-out of the hospital and many Dr. appointments Karen is unable to work as she needs to be there full time for Mandy. Let's show some Bulldog Alumni spirit to help these amazing humans and let them know how much they are cared for.
