We've been following Karen's journey to donate her kidney to a close friend. The surgery was successful, and now it's onto recovery. Karen has started this process, but she's going to need her husband, Jim's help this week while she continues to recover. Four children at home in the summer doesn't typically equate to rest and relaxation. Thus, Jim will be staying home for at least the next week to keep everything in order and allow Karen to rest. Without paid leave, the Wright family could use their community's help for their monetary obligations.
