Our little Pyper was born on June 30th and she came home as a 4 week premature baby, but a healthy one.  Or at least that is what we thought.  As most of you know that has proven to not be the case.  Pyper's journey, even though only 5 months old has already been one filled with 2 hospital stays and numerous doctor appointments.  Her full story is told at www.anunintendedjourney.com.   Because of her complicated health issues Nicole and Brandon have missed A LOT of work so far and there will be many more missed days to come.  Pyper is now under the care of a Complex Critical Care Team at UNC Chapel Hill which is a 5 hour drive from home.  Dean and I, as well as, Nicole and Brandon have been asked by so many people what they can do to help.  Our #1 need is PRAYER.   Our #2 need is financial.  This fund has been established to help ease the financial burden that Nicole and Brandon are carrying due to lost wages and travel expenses.  If you would like to help by making a donation you can do so right here.  Any funds received will be used solely for the purpose of making up a portion of their wages when work is missed and to help with travel expenses (hotels, gas, food) when they have to go to Chapel Hill.  On behalf of Pyper, Nicole and Brandon, I want to thank you for your prayers and financial help.  Please follow along as I share Pyper's journey at www.anunintendedjourney.com.  I use this site to post her updates.  From my heart, I say thank you again for sharing in this journey with us.
