Help Liam

I am desperately trying to raise legal funds to support my son Liam who is 11 years old

Liam has had a difficult time lately managing school and stress. the school and myself have taken steps to address the issues and have seen a huge improvement in his mood and behavior.

His mother has acquired a prescription for Prozac which she intends to force upon him.

The prescription was acquired from a pediatrician who has not consulted myself his teachers or counsellors.

I have no option other than to address this through the courts. although I have more than adequate evidence and documentation to halt the use or a drug that can have very serious and life long implications for Liam, without legal representation I fear I will lose and he will pay the price.

To be clear my goal is to ensure that Liam is properly assessed based on Health Canada and the Association of Canadian pediatrics guidelines.

Time is very short before the Prozac is administered at which point there is no turning back for Liam.

Once this SSRI is started it cannot be stopped without serious side effect.

Should a psychological assessment find that he is not in need of Prozac but it has already administered Liam will have to remain on it, this can have serious side effects including but not limited to suicide.

To the best of my knowledge my son is in no way at risk of self harm nor is he depressed in any way. I feel his mother has motives that are not in line with his wellbeing, she has a history of pushing for diagnosis with our daughter be it autism or adhd, thankfully she was unsuccessful in those attempts.

Health Canada does not approve the use of this drug for anyone under the age of 18.

I feel ashamed or myself to ask for help but I have run out of options
