Jensen Family

The family you see in this picture has been destroyed by the actions of my brother, the husband, in committing a heinous and egregious crime against a member of the family.  His crimes have cost him his job and his liberty and put his family at grave risk of financial ruin.  My brother for various reasons shielded his wife from their finances but now she is faced with supporting their family of 9 children on her own with only my brother's military retirement income which is insufficient on its own to meet their current financial obligations and basic needs.  My desire is to raise at least 200,000 to pay off half the remaining mortgage so that at the very least it can be refinanced at a lower rate and result in a payment that will more adequately fit the budget they will be constrained to for the foreseeable future.   My sister-in-law is a full-time stay at home mom and desires to continue to fulfill that role especially considering what has transpired - her children need her now more than ever.  I cannot begin to say how profoundly devastated the family is over this and I as a loving uncle want to do all I can to help ensure my sister-in-law and nephews and nieces are not punished any more than they already have been by my brothers actions.  Time is of the essence as my brothers last paycheck from his job has already been received and starting next month (September) his retirement pay will be all the income coming in and it will be insufficient to cover all the basic expenses they have (mortgage, utilities, etc.).  If you wish to verify the veracity of this request you may peruse the Ravalli Republic web site and search for "Mark Jensen" as well as the Ravalli County booking site http://www.rc13.mt.gov/smartwebclient/Jail.aspx and search by last name "Jensen".  This will help you to understand how serious the issue is and how profoundly great the need for healing and stability is.
