ABOUT THE FUNDRAISER
Goal: £1,000 to restock a Ghana orphanage with food & hygiene. Currently at £280. Every little helps!
People With Purpose is a community-led initiative focused on giving back where we can, when we can.
Our first project, Pads With Purpose, began as a response to menstrual health needs for girls. That work continues today under People With Purpose, alongside wider community care initiatives.
For our 2026 Community Outreach Drive, we are raising funds to support an orphanage in Ghana with essential care and resources.
WHAT YOUR DONATION SUPPORTS
All funds raised will go toward supporting the orphanage as a whole, including:
- Essential food items and household supplies
- Toiletries and hygiene essentials for children
- Sanitary pads for girls through Pads With Purpose
Items will be purchased based on the most urgent needs identified locally to ensure dignity, practicality, and impact.
HOW FUNDS WILL BE USED
Donations will be used for:
- Purchasing essential items locally where possible
- Supporting logistics and transportation
- Ensuring fair and transparent distribution
If funds raised exceed the initial needs of the orphanage, additional support will be provided through extended care or future community initiatives.
OUR APPROACH
This is a community-driven effort rooted in care, transparency, and respect.
We believe in supporting people practically, without over-complication, and in keeping our community informed every step of the way.
Updates will be shared through our social media platforms documenting the journey and impact.
Community donations received offline via MoMo will be recorded and added to the total for full transparency.
