Hi, my name is Angelica, and I’m reaching out during one of the most painful moments my family has ever experienced. On May 19th, my dad, Rigoberto, was unexpectedly detained during what was supposed to be a routine immigration check in. He was so worried about what might happen that he brought his lawyer with him but still, he was taken into custody.

My dad is an incredible human being empathetic, supportive, and always there for others. He’s the kind of person who lifts people up, shows up when it matters, and never hesitates to help anyone in need. Now, he’s the one who needs help. Today, July 29th, my dad had his court hearing, and bail has been set at $15,000. We are doing everything we can as a family, but we can’t do this alone. I’m asking for your support to help us raise the money needed to bring him home.
