This is Ralphie Ray.

He’s only two years old.

Most children his age are learning new words, running around without a care in the world and discovering life.

Our little boy is fighting battles that no child should ever have to face.

Ralphie lives with Periventricular Leukomalacia (PVL), a permanent brain injury that has changed every part of his life. Every day is filled with hospital appointments, therapies, uncertainty, and prayers that tomorrow will be a little kinder than today.

Yet through it all… he still smiles.

That smile is the reason we’re climbing BEN NEVIS ️

Not because the mountain is a challenge.

But because every single day, Ralphie climbs a mountain far bigger than BEN NEVIS ever could.

We’re walking to raise awareness of PVL, to support the incredible Alder Hey Children’s Hospital Charity, and to show families like ours that they are never alone.
