The school is located in the impoverished village of Dago, in western Kenya, not far from Lake Victoria.  Previously, kids  had to walk more than 5 kilometers to school, and parents kept girls and younger kids home because it was not safe.  Now, Hope for Kenya has built a small school in Dago, but currently there is no washroom for girls, impacting their hygiene, dignity and safety.  Hope for Kenya focuses on helping Kenyans escape poverty by providing clean water and education for children, from preschool through college.  You donations are 100% tax deductible, and 100% of your donation goes to the school, not to program fees or administration.

We plan to visit the school in October with the children and see the impact we are having, with your support, and promise to share photos and stories.  Thank you so much for your support at giving these children a chance!
