Hi, I’m Lizzie Jasmine’s mum.
Jasmine was born with a rare virus called CMV whist I was pregnant which made her very poorly throughout my pregnancy and after she was born.
Due to these complications Jasmine has cerebral palsy, global developmental delay, learning difficulties, profound deafness in her left ear (not that you would ever notice as she doesn’t miss a trick!!). Jasmine is not able to walk and has to use a wheelchair.
Jasmine’s had an SDR operation on her spine in 2022, which reduced the pain caused from spasticity. She is now due to have her left foot corrected and her hamstrings lengthened later this year.
This will help Jasmine achieve her goal of becoming a more independent teenager!!
We are fundraising to help support her with further home adaptations, extra physio and equipment required to achieve her goals and support before and after her operation.
This is an invasive surgery with minimum six week recovery process.
Jasmine is one resilient, strong and courageous young lady who will just take it all in her stride I am sure ❤️
Any support great or small will be appreciated so much by our Family!!
Me, my brother and some very close friends will be climbing Scafell Pike on the 9th March!
Wish us luck and thanks again for all your support ❤️ xx
