Hi, my name is Kim.
I’m a Filipino who migrated to Australia, but I never forgot the small town in the Philippines that shaped me. Every time I visit, I try to do one small thing that brings pure joy to the children there: I treat them to Jollibee.
If you grew up in the Philippines, you know this isn’t “just fast food.”
For many kids, Jollibee is a special occasion—a birthday treat, a reward, a rare moment of happiness. For some of these children, it’s something they’ve only seen in commercials or heard about from others.
When I’m there, I see their faces light up over something so simple: a warm meal, a toy, a moment where they feel included and celebrated. Unfortunately, I don’t get to visit often, and I’m not well-off. I can only help so much on my own.
That’s why I’m reaching out.
I’ve set an initial goal of $700, and if I’m fortunate enough to raise more, every extra dollar will go directly toward helping more families by providing:
• A Jollibee meal for the children
• Food essentials for their families, including:
• Rice
• Noodles
• Canned goods
• Cooking oil, etc.
This isn’t about changing lives overnight.
It’s about full bellies, relieved parents, and children who feel seen, even just for a day.
If you have anything to spare, no matter how small, you would be helping put smiles on children’s faces and easing the burden for families who work hard every day just to get by.
Thank you for reading, for caring, and for helping turn simple kindness into something meaningful.
