Put Up Yer Wands! Gray family fund

Hey, yall. As some of you may know, when I was kid, a group of people took me in and raised me up right. Those people were members of a Harry Potter fan club and meetup, that would change my life forever. In this unlikely place, I would meet some of the best people I have ever met, people who shaped who I am today, and some of the greatest friends I have still today. Not only that, but they taught me good morals, and one of those is helping out when you see somebody needs help.

One of those people, who I met and would end up being one of the greatest friends I've ever had is Raquel "Rokkie" Gray. Rokkie is an amazing woman, strong, confident, and creative. She is a tough person who gets things done, and doesn't like to ask for help when she knows so many people in the world are also suffering. One of those poeple once was me. When I was dealing with my deep depression, Rokkie was there for me. Rokkie is also a great mom of two little boys, Stormy and  Sebastien, who she supports with love, helping give them the best childhoods they can have. She is a Scout troop leader, and somebody who will go and dress up for every halloween parade or school dance.

One of the reasons the boys have such a great life is Rokkie's husband, Scott. Scott Gray is one of the greatest men I have ever met. Always a kind, calm, presence, he encourages people to be themselves, follow their dreams, and have fun. Scott has lived an incredible life, in which he and Rokkie did things such as open up their own stand up comedy bar, and paid their workers well, even when the other clubs in New York did not. Even as a small club owner, Scott stuck up for the little guy. I know he stuck up for me when I was a little guy too, and he was a great role model for me in becoming the man I am today. Scott is a great father, and loves the boys. He is Rokkie's soul mate, and a hard working guy who has supported his family, and worked hard to be a great guy.
A little bit ago, Scott was diagnosed with cancer. Now, he's in hospice at he and Rokkie's house in New York. Rokkie takes care of him, and luckily has a medical aid, but between the emotional and physical labor of taking care of him in his sickness, and taking care of the boys, she had a lot on her mind. Scott can no longer get up, eat, or even drink by himself. He lays in bed all day as Rokkie tries to make his transition as painless as possible.

This stress is only added to by a constant worry about money.  Scott is the main bread winner for the house, and without him, Rokkie and the boys may need some help to get back on ther feet. This expense is only added to when Rokkie has to meet the reality that she will even need a good amount of money for Scott's funeral. All this is obviously too much for one person to deal with, and because I know Rokkie would never want to "burden" her friends and family, I want to show her that it wouldn't be a burden at all and ask that we help her out.
Thus, I'm asking if people can donate some money to my friend Rokkie Gray for when Scott passes, and to keep them afloat in the time between and after. They need money for all the basics: food, rent, bills, and everything else a household with two little boys needs. This is a hard subject to talk about, and I hope that this post has made clear how important these people are to me. Rokkie needs and deserves help. Scott deserves to know his family will be taken care of by those who love him. Rokkie and the boys need enough to support their household, so any little bit helps. Thank you so much for reading this, and if you can't donate as I understand many can't, please share this. If you don't know Rokkie, but know me, take my word for it when I say she's a great person. Riase up your wands, wizards and witches, and help our fellow witch and her beautiful family!
