Purim Traffic Control System
Donation protected
Everyone looks forward to the excitement and festivities of Purim. However it can be rather stressful, particularly when we all want to deliver our Mishloach Monos efficiently but cannot get to our destinations without struggling throughtraffic bottlenecks.
On a hectic day like Purim, Shomrim are one step ahead and have introduced the One Way Traffic Control system which has been applauded by our Kehilla
and much admired by the Police. This system ensures that everyone is safe and can enjoy going about their Yom Tov chores in a relaxed manner on this wonderful day.
Shomrim are here to make life easier for the community in every possible way, so there will be a total of 29 local Roads which will be manned by 78 Traffic Marshalls and assisted by 12 Supervisors at a total cost of £19K. The Traffic Diversion plan has been agreed and approved by the Council and notifications will be distributed to all local households.
Quotes from the Community:
“Shomrim has saved the day and made Purim more pleasant, I had 25 Mishloach Monos to deliver and there was less road-rage, hooting, than ever before…” Mrs
G
“Noch a mazel far Shomrim! They save us a lot of time and there is reduced traffic, on the busiest day of the year…” Sruli R
“.Having the amazing Traffic Control System coordinated by Shomrim is a major
difference in our response time and for this reason I fully support the Shomrim Fundraising campaign..” Representative of Hatzola
There is One Way Ahead!
The One Way Traffic Control System will cost £19,000 to operate efficiently and effectively which is why we would like to impress upon you that it is most important to contribute to the Go Fund Me Campaign.
Help us to help you! The Kehilla and our Yom Tov relies on YOUR generous donation. Pledge freely and pledge happily so we can all enjoy Purim safely!!!
