PURE Youth Fundraiser

Hi everyone, 

Our organization, People for Urban and Rural Education (PURE), seeks to confront inequality by increasing educational opportunities for children in impoverished communities at home in the United States and in India. The proceeds from this Gofundme page will be put towards constructing a roofed area in the ZPSS Mogilicherla school in Telangana, India so that children at this school can eat without being directly exposed to the elements. $2700 will also be set aside for digital classrooms and a reverse osmosis plant in Yedunutala, Warangal that will reach 400 children. 25% of the proceeds from this page and from our other events are put towards bettering the situation in inner-city schools in the United States, namely those that cater to disadvantaged communities.
